More about the Super Van Craft 12.10 (refit 2011)
You should see this ship. Really a beauty for a sharp price. This ship is really in very good condition. Come and have a look and I promise you you won't come for nothing.
A Super van Craft is actually a motor yacht for gentlemen, preffered by gentlemen, and is also called the Rolls of Dutch yacht building. Recently, Jachtwerf Klaassen B.V. transferred the prestigious brand to Nautisch Centrum Nicolaas Witsen in Alkmaar. After the old owner of Klaasen BV moored his own Super van Craft there, he saw the beautiful refits of this yard and so he made his choice. As a child I already found these ships impressive and with their beautiful fan steven they remain ships with many compliments.
Very modern, this Super van Craft has a single steering position which saves a lot of space in the now large saloon. The woodwork is now in top condition and shines on all sides around the boat. The teakwork on the aft and foredeck as well as the gangways also has a new impression. Because there is no fixed backseat on the aft deck there is a lot of storage space. Plus there will be a very large terrace on the water because everyone can sit with a large table and even then a lot of walking space remains. With a spacious entrance and a shallow staircase you enter the salon. All around double glazing is made in such a way that a great panorama remains while sitting on the couch.
Further on there is the kitchen with a large fridge and freezer and nice and clean cooking unit. Opposite the kitchen counter is a very convenient kitchenette that can be served directly from the kitchen. In the front there is a separate lockable sleeping cabin with plenty of daylight and sufficient ventilation. In the back of the owner's cabin or shall I say the luxury suite. A beautiful large bed with several closets and storage places but also the largest wardrobe ever. The entire interior is beautifully finished and specially matt lacquered so that the drawing of the woodwork is very nicely preserved. The colors of the upholstery is marine look and I think that really suits this ship. It is strong and resistant to moisture and remains timeless. The wet room is wonderfully clean and fresh and has daylight and lots of ventilation.
The quiet 6 cylinders of Volvo Penta with their 180 horses make it easy to steer the ship. With two throttles plus a double bow and stern thruster, mooring with any wind is child's play.
Volvo Penta is one of the brands you can say little negative about, the engines are well thought out and have proven to last a long time. Even though the engine has been out of production for years, parts are generally still available.
Volvo Penta is a merger of the two companies Volvo and Penta. Penta was founded in 1907 and supplied the engines for Volvo until 1935, after which it was taken over by the Volvo Group. I like to tell this because I think these engines are an asset to this ship and the best compared to other brands this year.
In short, a beauty that can offer many years of boating pleasure in an absolute incomparable style and class. When a Super of Craft arrives somewhere, people know the ship.
