The current owner has owned the vessel for years and now offers a beautiful traditional sailing yacht, which still has years of sailing pleasure left in it. This beautiful Buchanan 36 is a design by W. Huisman. This vessel is exceptionally well maintained and is equipped with the necessary modern equipment. The S-frame hull shape makes this vessel very stable on course and therefore suitable for large open waters. The hull is made of steel and the deck of teak wood. The teak deck and superstructure were renewed in 2001. This is a true classic and is fully ready to sail. The cockpit is a cozy and safe spot, and there is also plenty of comfort, partly thanks to the sprayhood and autopilot. From the cockpit one has a good view over the boat, instruments and surroundings. The gangways are easily accessible and provide good passage to the foredeck, where a manual anchor winch is present. Inside there is a classic and nautical atmosphere. On the starboard side is the chart table with an extra berth next to it. On the port side, the galley is equipped with a 2-burner stove, sink and the necessary storage space. Further forward is the forepeak with 2 sleeping berths and the toilet.
