Mehr über die Van De Stadt 40 Caribbean
The Van de Stadt 40 is a tough ship suitable for long journeys built in woodcore based (4 x crosswise epoxy-wood) based on the Van de Stadt Caribbean design. The boat is elegant, very rigid and robust and has been proven seaworthy during trips to Helsinki, Faroer and Ireland. She is relatively overrigged in relation to the ships weight. This results in a very smooth cruise ship, even in light weather. The boat is easy to sail for the experienced sailor. The cockpit provides good shelter, and navigation usually takes place at the card table.
The interior has a neat silk gloss lacque accompanied with blue pillows. Right besides the entrance are the galley and navigation corner. Midships is the lounge with at the left a couch and two sofas on the right. In the bow and the left aft are double cages with a total of 4 sleeping places. In the right aft is the bathroom with a passage to the back where a practical storage room is. The engine is well accessible for service.
For those who seek a truly seaworthy yacht, Van de Stadt 40 is a good choice. If you are interested, and if you want to visit the boat in Lelystad (NL), make an appointment via [email protected]. Your yacht broker is Robert de Vries, +31(0)228 855 380.
