Now on sale a fine Dutch aluminium day boat, super tight in a new paint system plus coated with premium multi-coat non-corrosive paint. As a finishing touch, the paint layer is protected with an anti-fouling paint layer that will stop the growth of algae and corrosion.
The boat has just been provided with a white waterline and the pictures will follow.
In 2011 an improvement was made in the operation and the tiller steering was converted to a steering position/steering wheel with hand-hydraulic operation.
Last year, where necessary, the engine was overhauled (e.g. retaining rings, starter motor, etc) and the entire bilge and flat inside has been conserved again (with oil-resistant bilge paint from Epifanes). Also, the GEBO windows have been fitted with new rubbers and the navigation lights have been completely renewed.
This lovely sloop has a silent Vetus 13 hp which provides comfort and power to sail through the wild waters. It has a classic interior with good daylight and has a fresh toilet and easily accessible kitchenette. The Coomanslijn is made of 100% 4mm thick aluminum with 5083 aluminum content. This material is extremely resistant to seawater, is super strong, but lightweight. No rotting wood, unnecessary plastic and absolutely no rust. Ideal and maintenance free material. There is a large rear open cockpit can accommodate 5 people, spacious seating and lying options and can be extended to 7 to 9 people with extra (folding) seating space.
