History
Grand Soleil was founded in 1974 with the aim of building regatta ships that were also luxurious and graceful. The first ship was the Grand Soleil 34, designed by Group Finot. Over the years the designs became larger. In recent years the sailboats are designed by Botin & Carkeek and Claudio Maletto.

Range
Grand Soleil is building a range of sportier sailing ships. The Performance range goes from 39 to 58 feet, the Cruise has the LC46 and the LC52.

Dutch dealer
New Grand Soleil vessels are imported into the Netherlands by Breskens Yacht Service.
