More about the Bavaria 1060

Beautiful and still very solidly built Bavaria 1060. The Bavarias of this year are still old-fashioned sturdy and well built, have a nice line and sail very pleasantly.

This specific 1060 has received a new Volvo Penta D2009-1F with new saildrive and folding propeller (30x17) in 12, current engine hours approx. 700 hours. The engine has been perfectly maintained since then and runs very nicely and quietly. Mainsail and Genoa have been renewed in recent years, the fully battened mainsail fits this ship perfectly. In 2019 all navigation equipment has been renewed, log with signal transmitter, depth sounder, wind speed meter with wind set on mast, chartplotter and autopilot; everything from the latest Raymarine series. The autopilot is a hydraulic steering unit, heavy and strong.

The underwater hull was treated with VC2019m in mid-17, the keel with Primacon and Interspeed.
