The Molenkruiser was built in 1980 by Klaas Mulder in Zaandam and is actually an heirloom. Due to family circumstances, it is now for sale. In 2015, the entire motor yacht was painted and an anti-slip layer was applied to the deck and will be given a final treatment before the sale to make everything perfect. A completely new antifouling layer was also recently applied so that the entire ship is well painted. In 2010, the ship was completely sandblasted so that there is no rust formation. This model also has a very luxurious teak railing which has also recently been treated with a new paint system and it gives the ship a beautiful classic look. The ship is built with a 6 mm thick hull and a 4 mm thick superstructure.
The fact that there are so many Molenkruisers sailing here in North Holland proves the success of these models. It is a large and spacious ship with easy sailing characteristics. The double steering position extends the sailing season for you enormously. When it rains and blows you can sit inside during the trip and when the sun shines you can sail wonderfully with the family on the large terrace at the back of the deck.
From the upper steering position you have a wonderful view over the entire ship and you feel like the king of the lake. The powerful Vetus bow thruster works perfectly and it is child's play to steer your ship during mooring and unmooring. The inside steering position is equipped with a very nice luxurious and professional wooden steering wheel and marine radio horn.
The entire interior of the boat has been designed in consultation with the owner and his father and the shipyard. After approximately 3500 pleasant sailing hours, this motor yacht is offered in truly neat condition. Then we can also look at the many extras on board this beautiful Molenkruiser. Such as a powerful inverter in combination with beautiful solar cells of 2 x 155W and new batteries from 2015, but also a complete control panel of the brand Vetus. With the solar cells and batteries you can live without shore power for a few days and thus significantly increase your sailing area.
The toilet is very spacious, very clean and has daylight and ample ventilation. The owner's cabin is nice and big and has a lot of closet space and in addition to 2 beds a bunk bed and large indispensable wardrobe. The aft cabin the owner's cabin has a teak interior which is finished with high-gloss clear lacquer. Under the beds are cabinets made to store things. The owner's cabin has about 10 windows so a lot of daylight and sufficient ventilation possibilities.
The saloon with an L-shaped sofa has the very handy side exits which makes the ship suitable for sailing by a single person. For example, you moor the ship from the middle in a lock. The saloon has a beautiful high-gloss clear lacquered ceiling which is really in new condition.
All windows in the saloon and in the fore ship are bone dry and have no water damage at all. In the fore saloon is the kitchen with a long stainless steel counter plus neat 43 liter refrigerator and 4 burner gas stove. The nice thing about this is that you can look outside while cooking. Next to the counter is the kitchenette built so that you can conveniently serve the food from the kitchen. The kitchenette consists of a beautiful high-gloss clear lacquered table with neat large long salon bench. Opposite the dining table there is an extra rest lounge bench. In this fore cabin there are also 2 sleeping places to create.
The ship comes with an extra bimini top tent, which is not only nice against the hot sun but also gives the ship a rich appearance.
The 120 hp strong engine has a handy underwater bilge cooling a closed cooling system. The bow thruster is from 2010 and there are large 500 liter tanks for water and diesel. The ship is equipped with a large easily accessible swimming platform. A luxurious stainless steel protective plate is mounted on the fan stem. The teak mast is also equipped with complete navigation lighting is foldable and also freshly painted with clear high-gloss lacquer.
