The CHB 34 is very similar to the Grand Banks Classic series. The build quality is certainly not inferior, but the price is a lot more attractive. This specimen is in an exceptionally beautiful state of maintenance, both visually and technically, and is fully equipped with European Volvo Penta engines and Vetus equipment. The characteristic Grand Banks lines are immediately noticeable. The ship has a sturdy appearance. The finish with a lot of beautifully varnished mahogany and the cork deck laid in 2000 accentuate the luxurious character of this ship. The decks are very easy to walk on. The enormous flybridge in particular offers a great place while sailing but also in the harbor or at anchor. This flybridge not only has a cover, but also a bimini for extra protection against sun and rain. The interior is certainly as beautifully maintained as the exterior. The saloon is very cozy with a lot of teak. Equipped with an indoor steering position, spacious kitchen, plenty of seating space and 2 double cabins. Both cabins have their own wet cell. The beds in the front cabin are 215 cm long, in the rear cabin 185 cm (can be extended if desired). There is a lot of storage space throughout the ship. The owner has also made many nice and practical adjustments such as built-in mosquito nets, etc. The powerful Volvo Penta engines are well maintained. The engine room is an example of how an engine room should look. And that after 34 years of sailing! Due to the double engines, a bow thruster is not necessary, which is therefore not built in. There is a Volvo heater, but the current owner has never used it, so it needs to be checked. All in all a very nicely maintained ship.
