More about the Westerly Konsort 29 Duo
Yet another excellent example of the out of the box thinking of the Westerly shipyard. This Konsort 29 Duo was way ahead of its time with the comfortable decksaloon design. Even by today's standards this ship is spacious and practical but still has that famous Westerly sturdiness. The cockpit is larger than expected and the entire crew can find a nice place to sit. From the cockpit you can enter the saloon which is surprisingly large as well. At starboard side is a dinner table with comfortable settees and an excellent view at the surroundings. At this same side you will also find the inside steering. At portside is a large galley with lots of storage space. Moving forwards in the ship we have at portside a single bed and at portside the wet cell. In the forepeak is the owners cabin with a double bed and a lot of storage space as well. All in all, a very nice ship if you are looking for a decksaloon but with a much more attractive price tag and a more manageable size than we usually see on decksaloon ships. This one in particular is ready to sail but does need some TLC in regards of the outside paintwork. But the current owner did invest a lot already in this ship like for example a professional osmosis prevention system in 2015 but due to his health he has to let her go with great regret. Looking for an opportunity to own a decksaloon from a famous shipyard but in a manageable size with a manageable price tag? Don't hesitate to contact us to make an appointment for a visit.
