More about the Carena 47 Center Board
The Carena 47 with lhydraulic operated centerboard that we offer you is a well maintained steel sailing yacht. The current owner has made important investments including in a new rig. The boat is very suitable for distant sea voyages and permanent habitation but of course also as a touring yacht and a longer stay on board is no problem at all. Due to the lifting keel the minimum draft is very small for a yacht of these dimensions and a large sailing area accessible. The boat is easily operated by a small crew.
Upon entering the salon, the seating area is on the right and there is the steering position. From here it is comfortable to sail even if the conditions are heavier. On the left is a sofa and a long kitchen. The previous owner has lowered the floor so that there is much headroom in the salon. In the stern is the owners cabin with french bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. In the foreship are two cabins with bunk beds, a second wet cell and entirely for a workspace annex storage. The engine room is centrally located under the cockpit where the engine is easily accessible for service.
For those who are looking for a well-built and spacious ship, then this Carena 47 is a good choice. If you are interested and would like to visit the boat in Durgerdam (NL), please contact [email protected] or call +31 (0) 228 855 380.
