More about the Beneteau First 40.7 Distinction
The Beneteau shipyard has engaged the design agency of Bruce Farr for the design of this yacht. His designs are not only regular winners on the racing track but also user-friendly for the tour sailor. From behind the large steering wheel you have good overview and control over the boat.
Around the cockpit are the winches to which the lines and halyards are led. The deck layout is well thought out and clear. The fittings are placed in such a way that the many trim lines are within reach of the crew. The extensive sail wardrobe consists of quality sails of among others Hagoort and Quantum.
Once inside the cabin there is a practical and functional furnishing, with black upholstery in combination with varnished wood. On the left is the kitchen with sink, stove, oven and refrigerator. In the bow is a double cabin with its own wet room, complete with sink and toilet. In the stern 2 times double cabin. On the right side of the cabin entrance you will find the navigation corner. The engine is easily accessible for service through the removable hatch.
All in all, this Beneteau First 40.7 is a very successful design. On the inside very pleasant to stay on, on the outside a pleasure to sail with. This boat is mediated through the office White Whale Yachtbrokers Enkhuizen.
