More about the Trintella 42

The Trintella 42 is yet another successful example of the perfect collaboration between the famous van de Stadt yacht designers and the well-respected Anne Waver schipyard. Both are known for their excellence in the yachting industry.

The Trintella 42 is a impressive ship and the current owner invested a lot to give this lady the love and attention she deserves. For example, in 2005 a complete new teakdeck is fitted and a new Volvo Penta D2-55 engine is installed. Also, in 2010 she got the full bottom treatment which basically is a complete new epoxy coating which is finished off with Coppercoat and on top of that, the hull and superstructure got a new paintjob. All is done by professional shipyards and can be backed up with invoices. In short, the owner did not skimp on maintenance.

If you set a foot on board, you obviously will notisch the nice teak deck but more practical, the wide side decks for easy manoeuvring and the practical deck layout. The cockpit is spacious and deep for comfort and protection and you find additional shelter behind the partial fixed sprayhood.

Inside the ship you are welcomed in a spacious, warm and nautical interior. At portside is the galley and the entrance to the rear cabin. At starboard side is a  large navstation and the access to the rear toilet. Amidships are at both sides comfortable settees and two tables that can be connected to become one large table so you can sit and relax with a large crew.

Further forwards is the second cabin with bunkbeds and also a door to the second toilet. And entirely in the forepeak is the third cabin with a two person v-bed. This means with the three cabins you have fixed berths for six people and if you add the two saloon settees, you can sleep a total of eight comfortably.

All in all, this Trintella 42 is a spacious and above all a very solid ship. Perfect for long distance cruising but of course a nice relaxing day on local water is equally comfortable and fun as well with this ship. And as a bonus, being the beauty that she is, you get the very nice design for free with this one.
