The Carena 38 MS is a sturdy and seaworthy yacht, very solidly built by GM yachting in Stellendam. A fin keel is welded to the round bilge hull, and the rudder is mounted on a solid skeg. The skeg itself also protects the propeller. All in all, the Carena 38 is a robust yacht, suitable for long voyages. The safe sheltered cockpit offers good shelter for the crew, but in less favorable conditions it is also possible to steer inside. From the wheelhouse there is a good view all around. The cutter rigging is heavy, as are all deck fittings, guard rails and anchor gear. The interior is nicely "shiplike" and made of mahogany and a teak floor. There is a table with a U-shaped bench in the midships. On the right is the L-shaped galley with stove, oven and refrigerator. A striking detail is the beautiful stove amidships. There is a separate forecabin with two berths. In the aft ship is a spacious pilot's berth. Right amidships is a bathroom with toilet and sink. The engine is reached through a large hatch in the floor of the wheelhouse. The Carena 38 MS is an ideal yacht for those who value seaworthiness and solidity.
