The Vindö 40 is a Swedish design and was built at the Nötesunds Varv on Orust, the predecessor of the renowned Hallberg-Rassy shipyard. Many features are therefore similar. For example, the boat has a robust construction, which contributes to its durability and seaworthiness. The boat sails very reliably, even in challenging conditions. This makes the boat suitable for long voyages and ocean sailing. With its varnished wooden superstructure, white hull, and teak deck, it has a charming and timeless appearance. While the deck reflects years of experience, it is sealed.
The interior is cozy and nautical. Upon entering, the galley is to port, and the navigation area is to starboard. Amidships is the saloon with benches and a lowerable midship table. There's a double cabin in the bow, and a pilot's cabin to starboard aft. Lowering the saloon table creates two additional berths.
The boat has undergone years of loving maintenance and is always stored in a hall during the winter. Transport was carried out on a converted trailer, which can be optionally supplied. If you are looking for a beautifully lined classic yacht, suitable for long-distance travel, then this Vindö 40 is an attractive choice.
