More about the Noordkaper 43

The aluminum Noordkaper 43 is a solid and luxurious sailing yacht, designed for long and challenging voyages. The model was originally designed by Martin Bekebrede. While previous Noordkapers were often made of steel, the aluminum version was chosen for its lighter weight and low-maintenance properties, while retaining its robust appearance.

North Cape 43 (aluminum)

This Noordkaper 43 is a seaworthy and elegantly lined deck salon cruiser, with a powerful round-bilged aluminum hull. The vessel is semi-custom-built, meaning that the layout, interior finish, and technical equipment have been adapted to the current owner's wishes. The design combines classic lines with modern technology, making the boat both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Interior and comfort

The spacious wheelhouse is a defining feature; with 360° visibility and ample seating, it offers comfortable sailing in all weather conditions. Inside, the yacht boasts a warm wooden interior, a fully equipped galley, a spacious owner's cabin with a head, and a guest cabin. The standing headroom is approximately 1,95 meters. Thanks to its excellent insulation and heating, this vessel is suitable for both polar and tropical destinations.

Sailing characteristics

The Noordkaper 43 combines stability and course accuracy with surprisingly good close-haul performance. The boat can be easily sailed by two people. Thanks to the solid aluminum hull and bow thruster, maneuvering is easy, even in harbors or strong winds.

Use and target group

The aluminum Noordkaper 43 is ideal for sailors seeking ocean-going reliability without sacrificing comfort and style. The boat is often positioned as a "go anywhere" expedition yacht, suitable for both world travel and comfortable living aboard.
