This very nice Bavaria 42-3 is in an excellent condition. This ship is very spacious and has 3 double cabins and 2 heads. The wood finish is very nice and is better than found on most serial build ships today. This Bavaria 42-3 has a modern design and a practical lay out, both at the inside and out. The large cockpit is finished with teak, offers sufficient space for the entire crew and provides easy access to the swim platform. This ship can be sailed also very well with a very small crew. This has been made possible by the mainsail and furling genua, as well as the High Aspect jib, the stormjib, and a big Halfwinder, which all can be operated from the cockpit. From the helm the skipper has a good view at the ship and the surroundings. At the helm is the necessary equipment installed, like the Autohelm ST6000+ autopilot and of course the indicators for the wind speed, depth and boat speed. When boarding this Bavaria you’ll find a spacious and warm saloon. At port side is the length wise placed galley with everything you can expect on such a ship. A cross the galley is at starboard a very large and comfortable U-shaped bench. Together with the extra bench, it makes a social round sit. The table in the middle can be lowered so that an enormous bed arises. Further to the stern, at portside, a head is made with the possibility of taking a shower. And a cross this, at starboard, is the large navstation. Entirely in the stern two spacious double cabins are made. Here is, besides the large bunks, lots of storage space. Entirely in the forepeak is the large owner’s cabin. Here is a V-shaped bed and a little bench. But here is also the second head. If you are looking for that special ship which is a beautiful combination of comfort, space and performance, than make sure that you visit this well maintained Bavaria 42-3.
