With pride we now can offer you the famous yacht "Juniper". The trimaran was designed, built and sailed for years by the designer Chris White. The boat is well known, not only in the Netherlands but all over the world, thanks to the journeys of sailor Henk de Velde. "Juniper" is long for comfort at sea, wide for stability and is of such construction that she is easy to keep under control. The boat has recently undergone a thorough re-fit at Rhebergen in Amsterdam and in 2012/2013 in Sweden. She is totally ready for a new adventure. The hull is built with tri-radial epoxy glued Alaska Yellow Cedar which is coated with fiberglass / epoxy. She is ketch rigged with rotating wing mast. The main mast is from 2009, and the shorts were also replaced. The sails are of Quantum Cruising Lam. For broad reach courses there is a gennaker of a handy size, 60 m2. To the hull a wooden keel is mounted as drift limit, so the boat performs well on beat courses. The outboard rudder is controlled with a steering wheel. The interior in the center hull is one large space. Upon entering, one comes in the navigation area. Here all the navigation equipment is placed. The entrance can be sealed with a transparent sliding hatch so that in bad weather from here one can keep an eye at the sailtrim. Further forward is the galley, equipped with sink, 3-burner stove with oven and a large cooler. Opposite the galley is the head with toilet. Amidships is the salon with table and two sofa's. In the bow is a double bed. The salon banks can also be used as beds. "Juniper" is a great yacht for long ocean passages; fast, stable and a very pleasant behavior in waves.
