Koopmans designs are well known all over the world. They are renowned for their excellent seaworthiness and sailing characteristics. This Sentijn 37 MKII is built in full Epoxy composite by K&M Yachtbuilders in Makkum (NL). The rig is strongly built and features a hydraulic backstay trimmer and a cutter stay for the cutter jib. The sellers have maintained the boat very well and professional service is always carried out when necessary. In 2009 a maintenance free Flexi teak deck is laid. March 2017 a new coat of antifouling paint is applied. The interior is nicely finished with American Cherrywood. The cosy salon has a nice settee with foldable table in the center. Throughout the salon and aft there are well placed shells for storing books etc. Behind the head is a bunk that has been adapted for storage. This can be easily change back to a single cabin. This yacht also is provided with heating and sufficient ventilation flow. The navigation instruments are all Raytheon and include an autopilot. For long sailing trips there is a windvane on the stern. On the bow there is a anchor with a long chain, easily operated with electrical windlass. Also a sternanchor is ready. The Volvo Penta MD2030 is placed amidships and it’s cover smartly integrated in the galley.
