Nice Rekere 36 designed by the highly regarded and well known designer Dick Zaal. As soon as you see the ship the design goals were obviously; this is a ship designed for long distance cruising in nice but bad weather alike. The current owner is the first owner who ordered the build. After many years of sailing he now offers his ship up for sale with pain in his hart. But unfortunately the owner comes at an age that his seagoing adventures comes to an end.

The hull above the water was repainted in 2018 and several other investment has been recently done. Such as a 2011 genua including a new Harker furling system, in 2012 part of the teak deck are renewed, in 2015 the bottom of the ship is sandblasted and redone with 7 layers of epoxy coating, a 2017 new sprayhood and the list goes on. Furthermore, this ship is fitted with a in boom Profurl furling system. The big advantage compared with in mast furling systems is that this system does not require a perfect heading into the wind to lower of hoist the mainsail.

The interior is finished in teak and has a warm nautical atmosphere. Furthermore the ship has two cabins, lots of storage space and of course a full equipped galley and navstation.
