More about the Wauquiez Centurion 42

The Wauquiez Centurion 42 needs little introduction. The Wauquiez ships are known for their seaworthiness and solid construction combined with excellent sailing characteristics. The Centurion 42 is a beloved model among water sports enthusiasts who place high demands on their vessel in terms of comfort and safety. The Centurion 42 is a striking presence in any harbor. The elongated design and hull shape indicate that this sailing ship is meant to cover many miles. On deck, spacious gangways provide easy and safe access to the foredeck, and the cockpit is nicely spacious and deep. Notably high is the bridge deck in front of the cabin entrance. This provides extra security in bad weather, and combined with the generous sprayhood, it makes the cockpit a pleasant and safe place in both good and bad weather. Inside the ship you will find a surprising layout. Upon entering the salon, to port is the spacious galley with, of course, all the conveniences you would expect from such a ship and plenty of storage space. Here is also the access to the aft cabin, equipped with a substantial double bed and a remarkably spacious private wet cell. Back in the salon, to starboard is a comfortable seating area with a table in the middle. Opposite this is the large chart table with more than enough space for your charts. There is also a radar screen here and, of course, the switch panel for the onboard electrical system. In the front part of the ship, two cabins have been created along with the second wet cell. The first cabin is equipped with a bunk bed and, again, plenty of closet space. Opposite this you will find the second wet cell. All the way in the forepeak is the second forward cabin. This is equipped with a double bed, a small bench, and storage cabinets. This ship is solidly built and has very nice sailing characteristics. This is combined with a particularly spacious and practical interior. The current owner has sailed many enjoyable miles with his family on this ship, from Norway to a trip around Scotland, and is therefore offering this ship with a heavy heart. The interior woodwork and the teak deck could use some attention, but technically the ship is 100% in order and ready to sail for the new owner. We would therefore like to warmly invite you to arrange an appointment on board this Wauquiez Centurion 42.
