The terms and conditions and liabilities mentioned here apply not only to White Whale BV, but also to the partners (which are listed on this website) who advertise under the name of White Whale Yachtbrokers. These partners are completely independent companies for which White Whale BV has no liability whatsoever. Only the working method and marketing are carried out under one name.
White Whale Yachtbrokers has made all efforts that can reasonably be expected to ensure that the information stated on the website is correct at the time of placement. However, it is possible that there are errors in this information, or that the situation has changed.
White Whale Yachtbrokers gives no guarantee whatsoever about the accuracy of the information or the condition of the objects concerned. White Whale Yachtbrokers reserves the right to make adjustments and corrections at any time, without prior notice.

GDPR / Privacy personal data
White Whale Yachtbrokers consists of several independent offices that operate and collect data in virtually the same way. See our “contact” menu on the website for the details of all independent offices. At each office, the first (or only) broker listed there is also the person who is the Data Protection Officer of that company. In the text below, “White Whale Yachtbrokers” refers to the relevant office as described above, or the head office in Willemstad.
White Whale Yachtbrokers processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. When requesting general information via the website, email, or by phone, we only store the data we need to contact you, no further personal data. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process in the case of selling yacht owners and buyers of vessels. This is clearly stated in the relevant Brokerage Agreement and the relevant Purchase Agreement. This is, among other things, to determine the correct identity of the buyer and seller:
– First and last name
– Gender
– Date of birth
– Address details
– Phone number
– Email address
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without that permission, please contact us via info@wwy.nl, and we will delete this information.
White Whale Yachtbrokers processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Determine if Seller is an existing person and legitimate owner and if Buyer is an existing person
– To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to carry out our services
– Safeguarding rights and obligations that Buyer and Seller enter into with each other
– To be able to process your request
White Whale Yachtbrokers does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals. This concerns decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without human intervention (for example, an employee of WWY). White Whale Yachtbrokers uses standard Office packages in which your data is stored. Only WWY employees have access to this information through a secure access code.
White Whale Yachtbrokers does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Persons who
indicate that they wish to be forgotten can inform us of this by email. We will then delete all known data within 1 month at the latest.
White Whale Yachbrokers only provides data to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation.
The White Whale Yachtbrokers website only uses standard cookies to make the website faster and more user-friendly.
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you may have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by White Whale Yachtbrokers, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization specified by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@wwy.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your
privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, but within four weeks, to your request.
White Whale Yachtbrokers takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
