History
Grand Soleil was founded in 1974 with the aim of building regatta ships that were also luxurious and graceful. The first ship was the Grand Soleil 34, designed by Group Finot. Over the years, the designs became larger. In recent years, the sailing yachts have been designed by Botin & Carkeek and Claudio Maletto.

Range
Grand Soleil builds a range of sportier sailing yachts. The Performance range goes from 39 to 58 feet, the Cruise has the LC46 and the LC52.

New Grand Soleil ships are imported into the Netherlands by Breskens Yacht Service.
