History
Naval architect Ricus Van de Stadt received his first order in 1939. He then designed the famous wooden Valk day sailors. In the many years that followed, the name Van de Stadt was synonymous with good sailing boats with modern construction techniques. In 1965, Van de Stadt designed the first boats for Dehler with the Varianta series. This boat became a huge success with more than 4,000 units sold. Many designs by Van de Stadt have since been produced by many shipyards around the world. Because most shipyards are small and often unknown, the name “Van de Stadt” is often used as a brand for a boat.

Range
Van de Stadt has many designs to its name, such as the Valk and various Stadtlines . The best-known brands for which it is designed are Dehler, Winner and Trintella. But also a whole series of designs that are often built in small quantities at small yards.
