More about the Barkas 950 Cabin launch

lovely family boat with beautiful lines and lots of possibilities

This is quite a remarkably nice ship and note, 424 running hours!!!!

This boat was still built with genuinely high-quality steel.

There isn't a single wave in the hull, built in a round bilge shape, so suitable against large waves, as they say the boat lets the waves go, and the boat is very well balanced, for example nothing happens when stepping aboard, or when 2 people stand on 1 side, and the frames are placed nicely close together, in short, very sturdily built. This round bilge construction shape also creates a higher standing height inside.

This model is very nicely finished and has everything in very good ship quality. The boat is virtually undamaged and shows hardly any signs of use. The superstructure and the hull are painted in high gloss and that has certainly been done very neatly.

The boat has many beautiful ornaments such as brass navigation lights and bronze-made bollards and safety handles and horn, but also a brass rubbing strip.

The interior feels warm and cozy with lovely ceiling lights and bedside lamps in bronze and large authentic portholes, fitted with removable shading/curtains and insect screens.

The structure is insulated and therefore warm, and the engine is virtually new and well soundproofed.

This strong and reliable Lombardini also has only 424 running hours, a very nice dashboard, and this dashboard is full of gauges and lights.

Sailing is really very easy, 1 lever (also bronze) and the bow thruster, and the steering has a heavy 12-turn Vetus hydraulic steering pump. Turning in the ditch, see video, is no problem at all.

Quite honestly, the boat has a bit of the Titanic about it, funny isn't it? interior, everything made of beautiful mahogany wood. Large beds in the forward cabin. Nice kitchen, very practical, large toilet with note hanging toilet.

In English they then say what she already said. A neat well-known boat engine of the brand Lamborghini With four cylinders So nicely quiet, good exhaust Dry pils Truus Sleek dashboard Full of many ornaments such as lots of bronze and brass Notably the neatly finished brass rubbing strip. Missing navigation light and bronze cleats.

The Barkas was originally a launch. It was the largest on board, and often there was only one of that size. Large, square-rigged ships, such as ships of the line, usually had four launches, of which the largest was called the Barkas, the next served to bring the captain to and from the ship and was therefore called the captain's launch.
