"With a 5 mm thick steel hull and a 4 mm thick steel superstructure and a frame spacing of 45 cm, an extremely strong ship is created. The use of three watertight bulkheads provides great safety. The entire ship has been coated with a 2-component paint system from Sikkens. The entire technical system has been built by Smelne to be solid and extremely easy to maintain. Like a swan, this motor yacht glides through the water gracefully, without noise and without a wake. With a fishtail rudder, the turning circle is just slightly more than the length of the ship. With the two hydraulic bow/stern thrusters, docking is child's play. At full throttle, this motor yacht sails at approximately 18 km per hour with a remarkably quiet six-cylinder turbo diesel with aftercooler. Reversing and sharp turns are not a problem at all. Even turning in place, with the two hydraulic thrusters, is possible.
