Beautiful Koopmans with Yanmar

 

Now offering a beautiful S-frame at a particularly attractive price. Wonderful features such as high standing headroom below deck, plenty of room for storage and tanks, and a great long keel hull so you can safely let go of the helm while sailing. Just try that with a single centerboard boat. They sometimes say it's tricky to tack, but that's no problem for an experienced captain, since you tack with the right bit of wind.

A long keeler has a much stronger and less vulnerable underwater construction, and usually also less draft.

This model has a hoisting and lowering system that can be operated by a single person. The boat also has various line sets and offers you multiple sailing methods. The short boom gives you sailing pleasure again in the aft cockpit and doesn't get uncomfortably in the way, but instead provides comfort. On the superstructure there are various wooden safety handrails present without black water damage stains, so well maintained.

This Koopmans coastal cruiser has a thick stainless steel guard rail with very sturdy stanchion holders/sockets and a very large pulpit with a nice anchor chain guide plus a stainless steel bow tip and boarding step made of, among other things, a thick stainless steel rubbing strip. There are thick stainless steel ladders present, one on the stern - a nice wide and deep swimming ladder - plus a large stainless steel ladder for stepping off sideways. The boat has a good heavy anchor which will give you sufficient peace of mind at night.

The mast is a beautifully, incredibly strongly constructed long wood-grain mast. This mast has been completely re-inspected and fitted with the latest gluing system. The stays are less than 10 years old and in top condition. The entire boat was completely repainted last year. The boat has no water damage or sun damage.

The hull has no noticeable dents or other imperfections. There is a complete autopilot system present that works fantastically. The sail set is in good condition and has seen little use since new. There are various spars present to stabilize the foresail, and there is also a genuine bowsprit present. There are existing eyes present for a double genoa. This model, kustvaarder I, has a very large aft cockpit, a complete round seating area with high-gloss wooden benches, with plenty of storage spaces with new, very solid stainless steel hatches.

The saloon has a short, very wide staircase with good grip. Getting in and out is very easy. The high saloon is deep and has long benches, with the navigation corner on the starboard side and the practical kitchen on the port side, with plenty of storage cabinets. There is running water and a stainless steel sink and tap, a new stainless steel 2-burner gas stove, and a spacious and quiet WAECO compressor fridge box.

The saloon has no mast trunk or mast passage in the saloon, so you have extra space because there is no mast present in the saloon. A very great advantage, so to speak.

The saloon cushions are almost new. The mattresses have never been used. The curtains are new and have a new quick-hang system.

There is a separate toilet with manual operation so that no one wakes up at night while flushing. Everything is wonderfully clean and fresh. The bilge is bone dry and incredibly clean throughout the entire ship. The windows are made of newly installed aluminum frames. There are 5 large windows in the saloon plus 4 large portholes and 2 small portholes and a large hatch/escape hatch, completely clear and everything present without water damage.

The walls plus the ceilings and all white surfaces are neatly beautiful, undamaged and nicely clean. The paintwork is very well maintained.

The engine room is very easy to fully open within a minute and is very heavily insulated. The engine runs great, no leakage of oil or fuel or coolant on the engine. Everything looks very nice and the engine is super clean and beautiful.

The Yanmar 2GM20 is a series of inboard engines for marine diesel engines, manufactured by the Japanese company Yanmar Co. Ltd. It is used in a wide range of sailing yachts and motorboats. The engine had a service just before the end of this season and is powerful and quiet.

There is indeed a new type now in production, but all parts are widely available.

The power source gives the boat a cruising speed of 16 kilometers per hour, and without a mast a top speed of 19 kilometers per hour. So the boat has a powerful energy source that keeps the boat very well under control. Rivers or large bodies of water are therefore no problem. All hull through-hulls have just been inspected and are in great condition. The boat has good ventilation options and during daylight the boat is well provided with daylight. It is absolutely not a dark boat on the inside. The electrical system is neatly installed and there is a nice control panel and dashboard in the navigation corner. Classic horn VHF radio, which I always enjoy using.

The boat has a new antifouling coating that will last for several years, plus new anodes are present. The entire hull bottom is very nicely flat and does not contain any irregularities whatsoever. No play and/or unexpected movement in the rudder or propeller shaft. The boat comes out of the water every winter and goes inside the shed.
