The Voyager 40 is a design by Bill Dixon and Angus Primrose and was built in 1990 by Trident Marine Ltd, in Portsmouth. Trident boats are known for their high standard and stability to sail safely and comfortably, even in rough seas. The helm station offers a protected and comfortable workspace with a unique view. All lines for the sails and roller systems are led to the cockpit. The second cockpit on the aft deck offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun without getting caught in the ropes or tripping over them.
A distinctive feature is the beautiful and, for a 40-foot yacht, exceptionally spacious deck saloon. There are two entrances; one from the aft deck, and one from the cockpit directly into the saloon, providing direct access to the helm station. The boat has 2 separate double cabins, a guest berth, and 2 toilets, one of which has a separate shower. The large and comfortable kitchen completes this unique layout.
The Trident has 2 engines, making it comfortable to cruise under engine power, while also offering the necessary extras. This setup is very practical for maneuvering in harbors. Together with the bow thruster, the boat is easy to operate even with a small crew. The engines were installed in 2021 and still have factory warranty; in addition, the entire shaft system on the port engine was replaced in 2023.
