More about the Trintella 2

For the true sailing enthusiast with a taste for style, we present this beautiful Trintella II, a classic and timeless S-frame designed by the legendary E.G. Van de Stadt and built in collaboration with Tyler in England. Tyler, a major builder of polyester hulls and ready-to-sail sailing yachts, already had extensive experience with series production based on the design of Van de Stadt.

With a length of 9.15 metres and a width of 2.80 metres, the Trintella II offers surprisingly generous space and comfort on board. The long keel and classic underwater hull provide stability and a sense of calm, both on open water and when approaching harbours. The boat is built in polyester, making it low-maintenance, and has a charming interior that immediately gives a sense of coming home.

Inside you will find a cosy saloon, a practical galley with a sink and a gas stove, a separate toilet compartment, and multiple sleeping berths, suitable for four people. Everything is well maintained and exudes craftsmanship. Outside there is a deep cockpit that offers plenty of shelter while sailing and is comfortable for relaxing in the harbour.

The rigging is simple and reliable: the boat is sloop-rigged with an aluminum mast and a boom that is new as of 2025. Both the mainsail and the genoa are in good condition, and this vessel also comes with a bollejan (a type of light-wind sail), a koterfok (cutter jib), and a storm jib. The engine, a 16 hp Sabb diesel, also still runs smoothly and reliably despite its age. On board you will also find various navigation aids, including a compass, depth sounder, speedometer, chart plotter, and a VHF radio. And of course there is an anchor, a swim ladder, and a shore power connection.

The teak deck was renewed in the winter of 2001 to 2002, and the engine was overhauled in 2006. In addition, the halyards were renewed in 2024, and the deck and superstructure have recently been repainted.

This Trintella II is ideal for anyone looking for a charming, reliable, and seaworthy classic at an exceptionally attractive price. She is perfectly suited for weekend trips, day sails with friends, or even longer journeys along the coast. With her authentic look and solid build, this yacht offers many more years of sailing pleasure.

The boat is currently located in Dinteloord (NL) and can be viewed by appointment. Please feel free to contact us by phone: +31 168 820 208 or info@wwy.nl to schedule a viewing.
