More about the 1936 Yawl Smarianne

The S'Marianne is a particularly beautiful classic ship with a rich history. In addition, she has excellent sailing characteristics and offers the necessary comfort to function as a family ship. In short, she certainly has the looks, she is fast and comfortable too. Furthermore, she is well maintained and the current owner has invested a lot to keep her up-to-date. For example, there is a hot water system, chart plotter, greywater tank and a new set of sails was fitted in 2000.

She is built of Honduras mahogany and Swedish oak and everything is fastened with bronze and copper materials. Of course, she is also equipped with a beautiful teak deck. The Volvo Penta engine is from 1974 and runs like a charm, and to keep it that way, major maintenance was carried out in 2016. Furthermore, the electrical system has also been updated and equipped with gel batteries, a Mastervolt charger and the wiring was replaced in 2016.

In short, the Marianne is a well-maintained classic sailing yacht with a rich history. She is a first-class eye-catcher and excellently suited for a family to stay on. practical too! Of course, she cannot be compared in terms of comfort with a modern yacht, but what she might lack in that area is amply compensated by character and allure.
