More about the Barkas 1350

We are pleased to offer you this well-maintained and fully seaworthy Barkas 13.50. This 13.50 also has the typical rugged Barkas look, and this vessel can certainly live up to it. Everything is exceptionally sturdily built and many technical aspects are finished to an almost professional shipping standard.

Naturally, this Barkas also features the characteristic large cockpit, through which french doors give you access to the single-level saloon. The layout of these vessels can vary somewhat depending on the owner's preferences, and this vessel has both the saloon and the galley 'upstairs'. So the kitchen prince or princess doesn't have to isolate themselves in, for example, the forward cabin to prepare a meal, and, always nice, while cooking there is a lovely view outside thanks to the generous windows all around. Incidentally, due to the positioning of the galley, it is also easy to grab a drink from the cockpit. Not unimportant.

Further into the saloon, a lot of storage space can be found on the port side, along with the indoor helm station. Speaking of the helm station, it is notable that the vessel can be steered from the cockpit, both inside the saloon and outside, at the front of the vessel. The engine, bow thruster and stern thruster, and the rudder can be operated fully electrically from all three of these locations. So whether the weather is good or bad, you will always find a comfortable spot to steer the vessel. And of course, you can also leave the steering to the autopilot on board.

On the starboard side of the saloon, next to the galley, a comfortable round seating area has been created with a table in the middle. Here, all passengers can find a spot for when the weather doesn't allow staying outside. Fortunately, there are also large windows here, so from inside you also have a good view of the surroundings.

Via a small staircase you reach the forward area from the salon. At the bottom of the staircase, on your left hand, is a door giving access to the toilet room. This is also where the washing machine can be found. On your right hand there are two doors. One leads to the wet room with washbasin and separate shower. The second door leads to the guest cabin. Finally, there is a door straight ahead leading to the spacious owner's cabin. Here, of course, there is also a double bed and plenty of storage space.

This Barkas 13.50 is excellently maintained and ready to sail for a new owner. This is of course a lovely vessel for a nice day on the water or a weekend away. But for a longer stay on board, this Barkas is also ideal. And should the weather conditions along the way be a bit unfavorable, you will still be nice and warm thanks to the Kabola central heating system. Furthermore, the necessary navigation equipment including AIS is on board, and the previously mentioned washing machine is of course not missing either. In addition, there are two refrigerators, plenty of storage space, and a 3,000W inverter as well as a 10Kva generator, so that you can enjoy your journey largely self-sufficiently. In short; this Barkas 13.50 is an exceptionally complete vessel.
