Inside, this is visible through the luxurious finish with solid wood and luxury hinges and locks, all bulkheads laminated to hull and deck, all wooden parts are lacquered from the factory, the spacious galley is equipped with an oven, a refrigerator and a cool box, large fore and aft cabins (both equipped with a dressing bench and storage space), the wet cell with Jabsco toilet and shower with hot (boiler on 230v and on the engine) and cold water, usable bilge and the many Gebo window hatches (all equipped with sun protection) which can all be opened, and a comfortable Webasto 3500 heater with vent openings in all cabins etc. The upholstery and mattresses have been renewed! Outside, among other things, through the ergonomically shaped cockpit with teak, two large storage boxes, one of which has been fitted with several shelves that fit crates, the placement of 4 Lewmar winches and stoppers, the Whitlock cobra steering station with instruments, the clever placement of the gas locker (gas hoses replaced in 2014), swim platform with shower, the backstay tensioner etc. The lead keel with torpedo bulb ensures high initial stability and thanks to this, sailing close to the wind is no problem. A nice bonus is the fact that the shorter keel results in a large sailing area. The deep-draft balanced rudder provides a pleasant feel on the steering wheel. The Selden mast is approx. 17.50 m high and is 7/8 rigged (rigging checked by Selden in 2014) and equipped with a Furlex roller furling jib and Stowaway mast. The little-used (still crisp) sails are from Quantum, the furling mainsail has sail battens and the genoa (135%) is equipped with a UV strip and can be reefed. This rigging provides a great deal of convenience and is fully operable from the cockpit. As an extra, a Genaker/drifter is included. In 2014 the running rigging was replaced. The engine is a reliable Volvo Penta MD2030 intercooler with only 500 hours on the clock. Very easily accessible through three inspection hatches. Serviced by the Volvo dealer in 2014, during which, among other things, the impeller was replaced. The diesel tank was also checked for contamination. Thanks to the fixed propeller, maneuvering is a piece of cake! The rudder bearing has been preventively replaced. All electronics work well. A GPS, depth, speed, wind meter (Autohelm ST50), a Shipmate RS 8300 VHF radio with inside and outside control, voltage, battery, diesel and water meter and control panel ensure that you can see at a glance where you stand. Quite pleasant when you're underway. Both water tanks are equipped with a manhole, one stainless steel tank of 180 liters and one plastic tank of 70 liters. These can be used separately. The stainless steel diesel tank is no less than 150 liters in size. The level gauge is located outside next to the control panel. The overall condition of the boat is best described as "almost new". The hull and superstructure were professionally polished and cleaned in 2014. A sprayhood, fitted with new windows in 2014, a zip-on aft awning and a complete winter cover really complete this Bavaria.
