More about the Contest 43

Excellently maintained, fully equipped and ready-to-sail Contest 43 offered at an attractive price. The shipyard name Contest actually needs no further introduction for most watersports enthusiasts. Over the years, the shipyard has built up more than an excellent reputation as a builder of very solid vessels with fine sailing characteristics and a high level of finish. For the watersports enthusiast who may be less familiar with the term Contest, think of the category Hallberg Rassy, Najad and the like, if that means more to you. In short; robust, solid, beautifully finished, safe, comfortable and ideal for long distances on open water.

This Contest 43 is a beautiful example of those famous shipyard values. Just seeing her lying in the water already makes an impression. The blue hull combined with the beautiful teak deck gives her a chic look. As soon as you step on board, you immediately feel what is meant by robust and sturdy. Everything feels equally solid and substantial. In addition, this 43-footer is nicely spacious with wide gangways for a safe walk around the deck. The cockpit is deep and comfortable and offers good protection in case you encounter somewhat less pleasant weather along the way.

Inside the ship you are welcomed into a warm and nautical interior. Here too, the high-quality finish in beautiful teak stands out. Starting at the front of the ship, you will find the guest cabin there. This is equipped with a double bed, ample storage space and its own en-suite. Amidships is the spacious saloon with comfortable seating and a table in the middle. On the port side, there is also a generous galley equipped with the comfort you may expect on board a vessel like this. Opposite, on the starboard side, is the spacious chart table with the controls for the onboard systems and equipment. On the starboard side is also the passage to the owner's cabin. This passage runs under the cockpit bench towards the stern, leading you into that cabin. The owner's cabin is remarkably spacious and equipped with a double bed, again with ample storage space and its own en-suite, which in this case also features a separate shower area.

If you are looking for a serious sailing yacht with which you can explore the world's oceans, then this Contest 43 is really worth it. The current owner has always maintained her with love and she is therefore ready to sail for a new owner. Interested? We would love to hear from you to arrange an appointment for a viewing.
