This Gillissen kotter has the characteristic lines of a ship designed by Theo Gillissen. The current (2nd) owner is in possession of the construction drawings. The steel, round-bilge, jogged hull was sandblasted in 2008 and finished with epoxy coating, single-component paint and antifouling.
The ship has a continuous keel (120 cm deep) with a centerboard that can be raised using a hand winch (up to 180 cm). Later, two solid bilge keels (also 120 cm) were added, allowing comfortable upright drying out. The two masts are made of wood, the sail wardrobe consists of 4 sails, including a gaff rig. The foresails can be operated using 2 winches. The brokerage is handled through office White Whale Yachtbrokers Enkhuizen.
