More about the Grand Soleil 42

Are you looking for an elegant and well-maintained sailing yacht that is ready for new adventures? Then this beautiful Grand Soleil 42 is exactly what you are looking for. With two spacious cabins, this sailing yacht offers all the comfort and performance you need for long trips and relaxed weekend getaways. After almost 25 years of sailing pleasure, the current (second) owner has decided to offer her for sale and pass the torch of this lady on to the next enthusiast.

Grand Soleil needs little explanation for most watersports enthusiasts. These vessels are known for their beautiful designs, above-average sailing characteristics, and high-quality finish. The 42 is certainly no exception to this core value of the yard. Take a look at the images and you'll basically know enough right away. Here lies a serious vessel for sailors with serious ambitions in terms of speed and comfort. And with an eye for classic beauty.

Inside the yacht you are welcomed into a warm and nautical interior. No expense has been spared in the construction, which is clearly visible in the beautiful curves of the teak finish. In the aft section you will find a spacious owner's cabin with an en-suite wet room. The cabin features a spacious chart table to starboard, with a complete galley opposite to port. Amidships there are comfortable settees which can also be used as extra berths. The owner has, incidentally, made the seats of these settees somewhat deeper for extra comfort. For overnight trips, 3 extra berths can be created from these comfortable settees in the midship area by using the 2 settees and, for the third berth, folding down the table top. A board and a cushion then provide a flat surface. Sea berths are secured with leecloths.

Further towards the front of the boat there is a nice storage space for your wet gear, and right in the forepeak you'll find the second two-person cabin. The current owner has maintained the boat excellently and over the years has carried out the necessary renewals, such as replacing the teak in the cockpit, installing modern Raymarine clocks, AIS, radar, two custom made carbon tablet holders under the sprayhood, a Lewmar mainsheet traveller, and even the compartmentalisation of the storage drawers in the cabin has been improved. And this is just a small selection from the long list. As mentioned before, this is a boat owned by an enthusiast, and it shows. She is ready to sail for many more years of sailing pleasure on both small and, certainly, large waters.
