The Grand Soleil 42 was built by the Italian shipyard Cantiere del Pardo, which has been building fine sailing quality yachts for 40 years, and the brand is especially well known in the Mediterranean region. This Grand Soleil, designed by German Frérs, can also be regarded as a fast cruiser. The cockpit and decks are spacious and easily accessible, the teak deck was renewed in 2007. The sail wardrobe consists of 5 sails, all still in good condition, the cutter jib has in fact never even been used.

The interior is also of great quality, the finish with dark, varnished wood in combination with the ecru upholstery gives the whole a chic look without excess. The extensive galley is on the port side and the navigation area is placed on the starboard side.
