This Koopmans 33 was built at Jachtwerf Sloten (Friesland NL) commissioned by the first owner in wood-epoxy to model 158. On behalf of the current, 2nd owner, we are pleased to offer this beautiful boat for sale. An extensive description of the construction method and building materials is available. Wood-epoxy construction has a number of important advantages. It is light, strong, does not suffer from corrosion which makes it low-maintenance, and is fairly easy to repair in the event of any unexpected damage. Over the past years, the current owner has replaced and invested a great deal in the boat, including: in 2012 the standing rigging was completely renewed with the exception of the cutter stay, and the running rigging has also recently been renewed. Furthermore, in 2016 the jib and the sprayhood were renewed. All in all, the boat makes an excellent impression, she is ready to step aboard and sail away. Trips have already been made with the boat to, among others, Scandinavia, England and the Belgian coast, but due to her shallow draft the boat is also very suitable for sailing on the Wadden Sea and the Frisian lakes.
