The Noordkaper 31 VM that we offer you is a design by Martin Bekebrede and the hull was built at Nazeeuw DTB (NL). The boat is very suitable for sailing at sea, but due to its shallow draft with the keel raised, it is also suitable for shallow waters, such as the Wadden Sea and the Frisian Lakes. This year the underwater hull was stripped and a new paint system was applied, and the hull was also professionally polished. Recently, the gaff rig was replaced by a mast rig with roller furling sails. What makes this Noordkaper special is the space cockpit, which is covered with a large outdoor tent; this can also remain in place while sailing, creating a large living space.
