More about the Southerly 115

Looking for a special yacht with a number of seemingly incompatible characteristics? Look no further and take a look at this special Southerly 115. This big sister of the Southerly 105 also features the unique combination of inside and outside steering, the ability to dry out, generous headroom inside the boat and good sailing characteristics. This British-built yacht is of high quality and very practically laid out both inside and outside. In addition, the owner has always maintained the boat well and renewed a lot where necessary, such as the standing and running rigging, sails, sprayhood and cover and equipment. This boat is ready for its new owner! Outside, the spacious aft deck naturally stands out, but so does the safe and cosy cockpit. Thanks to the deck saloon and sprayhood, you will find plenty of shelter from the elements here. The decks are easy to walk on and the foredeck is characterised by a recess where the anchor winch is placed. This lowered section of the deck gives you a firm and safe hold. Inside the boat, the large windows all around stand out. These let in a lot of light, which, combined with the generous headroom, makes it feel very spacious. On the port side you will find the galley as well as the below-deck passage to the aft cabin. Here there is a lot of storage space and a generous double bed with a handy bench as well. Back in the galley, the keel construction naturally stands out. Here you can raise the keel fully electrically, making drying out possible. This keel construction is built so heavily that the boat remains very stable even with the keel raised. On the starboard side is the inside steering position. This is naturally ideal for being able to continue sailing regardless of the weather conditions. Amidships is the saloon with benches on both sides and a table on the port side which you can easily lower to create extra sleeping places. In the forward part of the boat is the second cabin with two single beds. Throughout the entire boat there is a great deal of storage space, making it extremely suitable for a longer stay on board. Are you looking for a very seaworthy and comfortable boat with which you can easily dry out? Then feel free to get in touch to arrange a viewing on board this Southerly.
