The SQ25 is a design by van Ahlen Yachtdesign, known among others for various Etap and Sirius designs, and built by Freienohl Yachtbau in Germany. It is a very sporty yacht which is exceptionally luxuriously equipped with CE category C. The hull has clean lines and, with a T-keel and twin rudders, is very modern. The cockpit is spacious and the deck hardware is well positioned within easy reach of the crew. The deck is fitted with teak, which also gives the boat an elegant appearance. The UK sails are mylar laminate and easy to trim. For broader courses, a gennaker can easily be set on a carbon boom that extends well forward of the bow. The interior is very attractive with anthracite cushions and silky-glossy teak paneling. There is a modest galley with a single-burner stove and a small sink. There are 4 berths, 2 in the bow and 2 on the salon benches. On the right is a wet cell with a toilet. The Volvo Penta 13 hp is placed under the cockpit and is easily accessible.
