Standfast 50 Sold

Looking for a robust and comfortable vessel for long journeys? Then this Standfast 50 will certainly be of interest to you. This Standfast began her life as a 47-footer with two masts, but in collaboration with Frans Maas himself she has been modified (fully documented) to 50 feet and fitted with a single mast. Those extra feet in length benefit a more practical stern, and the new rig offers even better sailing characteristics than she already had.

The beautiful blue hull, the teak deck restored in 2020, and the notably tall mast make her an impressive vessel. Not only does she look tough and robust, but as befits a Standfast, she truly is. As soon as you step on board, everything immediately feels solid and sturdy. The spacious decks are easy to walk on, and as you move further aft you'll find a comfortable spot in the center cockpit, which is further protected by the partially fixed sprayhood. Always nice in case the weather is a bit less favorable.

Inside the ship you are welcomed in a warm and nautical atmosphere. Beautifully finished teak everywhere, which combines tastefully with the recently renewed leather upholstery on the seating benches. Speaking of which, amidships on the starboard side you will find a comfortable bench with plenty of storage space behind the backrest. Opposite, on the port side, is a spacious U-shaped bench with a lovely table in the middle. Here all occupants will find a nice spot to gather around.

If we move a bit towards the stern, you will see a spacious galley on the starboard side, equipped with all conveniences so that every kitchen prince or princess can fully indulge themselves. Opposite, on the port side, is the chart table with the necessary equipment and controls for all onboard systems. This side of the ship also has the passageway to the aft cabin. This cabin is remarkably spacious and features a double bed, a small seating bench, and its own separate bathroom.

If we go all the way to the front of the ship, you will find the second bathroom there and a space with a bunk bed. In the bow, there is the third cabin, which also has a double bed and storage space.

This ship is excellently maintained and comfortably equipped with, among other things, the Raymarine instruments renewed in 2021, a generator and Victron inverter and the central heating system. In addition, she looks very attractive with the blue hull and the teak deck restored in 2020.
