The Targa 96 is a seaworthy and solidly built boat with a separate aft cabin. The deep center cockpit underlines the safe and comfortable character, and together with the fixed sprayhood, the cockpit offers a nicely sheltered spot. The cockpit is, moreover, fitted with a fully enclosable cockpit tent with standing height, so the boat can still be sailed comfortably even when the weather is a bit less pleasant.

The interior is remarkably spacious and well thought out. Upon entering, you will find the chart table and galley to starboard, running lengthwise with the ship. Opposite, to port, is the wet room and a comfortable seating area with a table in the middle. The table can actually be lowered so that, together with the saloon bench, an extra sleeping place is created. In the forepeak there is a spacious V-berth offering sleeping space for two adults. In the rear part of the ship a second cabin has been created. This can be reached via the cockpit and also offers space for two to sleep, great fun for children.

This Targa 96 is solidly built and very seaworthy, but still needs some love and attention on the teak deck and in general. The engine, however, is of a more recent build year, and in 2019 the saildrive bellows was even replaced. If you are looking for a comfortable boat and don't mind putting a bit of extra love into the vessel, then this Targa 96 is definitely worth considering. She is a charming lady of good breeding, and with the right care and attention she will offer many more years of sailing enjoyment to your whole family.
