Unique and very sturdy motor vessel designed by Van de Stadt: the Van de Stadt 50 / Modus 1500 motor yacht. Built to a high standard by Modus in Lelystad using 2 layers of wood/epoxy with a foam core. The thickness of the hull is approx. 11 cm. This makes it theoretically unsinkable (7 tons of buoyancy thanks to the hull) but above all extremely insulating. Featuring a large aft deck with wide gunwales. The wheelhouse offers a beautiful all-round view. In the stern is the very spacious saloon with desk and galley. At the front are the 2 double cabins, separate shower cubicle and the toilet. Everything is spacious, light and suitable for extended living and/or traveling.
Also equipped with double glazing in the wheelhouse, central heating, generator, bow thruster and stern thruster, washing machine and much more. For comfortable cruising, the owner had a powerful stern thruster installed in 2014, in addition to the already present bow thruster. Also notable are the autopilot, the AIS transmitter/receiver, 2x Raymarine GPS plotters and the mud poles for drying out. The 106hp Deutz engine gives the vessel a top speed of over 9 knots. In addition, very economical cruising is possible at, for example, 7 knots (approx. 13 km/h). The engine is very quiet. Ask us for an extensive sea trial report from the Waterkampioen with the speeds and RPMs.
This vessel is not only highly recommended, but above all a tremendous opportunity for someone looking for a truly special vessel built to a high standard. Curious? Then be sure to come and see it by appointment in Dordrecht. Email us at [email protected] or call +31 (0) 168 820 208.
