The Victoire 10.44, designed by renowned yacht architect Koopmans, has been in production since 1987 and has a good reputation when it comes to quality of finish and sailing characteristics. Even today, the V10.44 is still a very comfortable sailing yacht and popular with a loyal following. With the 1.50 shallow keel variant, a relatively large sailing area is accessible. In 2010 the hull was "peeled" and fitted with an anti-osmosis system so that the boat is well protected for years to come. The boat is in remarkably good condition. The polyester still has a beautiful shine and reveals the quality of the shipyard. The deck layout is, like the entire boat, classic and practical. The halyards and trim lines run to winches at the mast base. The mainsail is easy to reef. The cockpit floor, benches and coamings are fitted with teak. The instruments are mounted above the cabin entrance. The ship's interior, made of teak wood, is beautifully finished with many curves. The salon has a classic layout with a U-shaped sofa on the left and a bench opposite the table. To port is the L-shaped galley with all modern comforts such as a double sink, cool box, and stove with oven. To starboard is the navigation corner where you will find, among other things, the switch and thermostat of the recently renewed heating system.
