Tord Sunden 31 Sold

The flat-bottomed boat, Ingela, was built at Fröbergs Varv on Lidingö in Stockholm, in a single copy, and was built in 1939 bij Tord Sunden. Also Toprd Sunden was an inspiration for a number of larger and better-known boat designers such as Riva and Cris Craft, as well as contemporary Swedish boat builders such as C.G. Pettersson and Tore Holm. Ingela is an example of Sunden's talent for combining functionality and elegance in boat building, and it is still admired by boating enthusiasts today.

Ingela is a beautiful and classic boat that measures 31 feet in length and 2.45 meters in width. It is made of mahogany and has a closed cockpit with a front cabin. The boat has a large cockpit with seating for several people and a spacious deck area that provides plenty of room for relaxation and sunbathing. Inside, there is a salon with seating and a dining table, as well as a pantry with all necessary amenities, including a cabin/sleeping area with a portable toilet. The original interior is largely intact and showcases the timeless design of the boat.

A new engine was installed in 1998, a Chevrolet Marine power V8-GM 350-280 hp 350, which gives the boat a fantastic motor sound, good power, and a speed of approximately +20 knots. Ingela is still a functioning boat and is often used by the owner for leisure sailing and as an example of the Swedish boat building tradition.
