Beautiful original Van de Stadt 38 OK with, among other things, 2x Yanmar, bow thruster, large open cockpit, extra large 2-person sleeping cabin, radar, etc. When you have stopped sailing and are looking for a nice motorboat that is still seaworthy, this is a great model. We all agree that with this ship you can cross to England very safely. It is a beautifully long and wide ship with safe gangways.

The driver has 360-degree visibility through the large aluminum windows, which also provide a lot of daylight in the steering cabin. The nice thing about this model is that you can sit at the same height together with your guests, so you experience the journey together. When you have a helm position, meaning the driver's seat on one side of the boat, this actually makes mooring very easy, because in this case you have a good view of the port side when mooring and going ashore.

This vessel is particularly complete and really has beautiful extra equipment on board such as a wonderful Raymarine plotter plus a digital radar, VHF radio, large Yanmar dashboard, searchlight, cooling drawer and TV and a large, complete kitchen.

If you choose this model and therefore want an open cockpit, then you choose good contact with the water, plus a sleeping cabin where you won't be kept awake by the water lapping at the front cabin, because this sleeping cabin is built inside in the middle of the boat. Thanks to this construction, you sleep very peacefully in the middle of the boat and you barely notice the lapping water while at anchor. This clever vessel therefore has a remarkable amount of storage space; while taking photos I came across all kinds of hatches and cupboards, and I kept thinking what an enormous amount of storage space.

Due to health issues and age, this vessel is now being offered for sale. It was last painted in 2016; a new paint job at some point is advisable. This is also known to the current owner, and he agrees to a lower asking price. There is no rust.
