Today the launch is completely ready for this boating season. JUST freshly painted. A fully finished aluminium launch. This boat is indestructible, requires little maintenance, and is very reliable and safe.
On offer for you is a fine Dutch aluminium day boat, super sleek with a new paint system plus a coat of premium multi-coat non-corrosive paint. As a finishing touch, the paint layer is protected with an anti-fouling paint layer that will prevent the growth of algae and corrosion.
The boat has just been fitted with a new white waterline.
In 2011 an improvement was made to the controls, and the steering was converted from a tiller to a helm station/steering wheel with hand-hydraulic operation. The hanging rudder was converted to a balanced rudder, and a trim tab was also fitted to improve the boat's handling/maneuverability.
Last year, the engine was overhauled where necessary (new oil seals, starter motor, etc.) and the entire bilge and interior hull were re-treated (fitted with oil-resistant bilge paint from Epifanes). The GEBO windows were also fitted with new rubber seals and the navigation lights were completely renewed.
This delightful launch has a quiet Vetus 13 hp that provides both comfort and power to sail through wild waters. It has a classic interior with good daylight and features a fresh toilet and easily accessible galley. The Coomans line is made of 100% 4mm thick aluminium with 5083 aluminium content. This material withstands seawater extremely well, is super strong, yet lightweight. No rotting wood, no unnecessary plastic, and absolutely no rust. An ideal and maintenance-free material. There is a large rear open cockpit that accommodates 5 people, with ample seating and/or lying options, and can be expanded with extra (folding) seating to accommodate 7 to 9 people. Moisture-resistant cushions are also available for the open cockpit.
