More about the Salonboot / Notarisboot Teeuw Rotterdam 1926
a completely restored historic saloon boat
What will it be, a plastic sloop or this exclusive and eye-catching notary boat with a very exclusive saloon structure with a completely new bottom (costs € 8000) When you sail by with your guests the faces will turn admiringly to this saloon boat. Now completely ready to sail. The engine is out and completely overhauled and checked including a refit of the fuel pump. How nice is this salon boat? All important parts of this boat have been checked and repainted. A new aft deck has been built and a hallway in the aft cockpit has been replaced. The foredeck with a hatch which is a unique piece of craft is also in the high gloss. The roof and all parts are beautifully painted in cream high gloss with a professional paint system. See the pictures how tight the roof of the saloon boat is finished with classic safety handles. Inside, the doors still have original sandblasted glass and windows. And once again No more water in the boat and from now on always a clean dry bottom. So now this month the boat has been delivered by the shipbuilder and is this salon boat.
This saloon boat is a historically luxuriously decorated barge intended for day trips or river cruises. In the past, in times without a superstructure, they were also called notary boat or board ship. The name refers to the fact that a saloon boat is equipped with a comfortable saloon with a view all around, where one can have fun during the voyage.
In the old days, these ships were built for the well-to-do class. Usually with a maximum length of under 25 meters. Because of the luxurious interior, salon boats can be suitable for large parties, such as weddings, and are sometimes hired for that purpose. Would you like to plan a family reunion, or are you planning a bachelor party? Are you looking for a unique company outing, or do you want to network at a special location?
This salon boat gives you so many possibilities both business and private.
Relaxing on the water - it is the perfect way to spend a beautiful day. After all, what could be nicer than enjoying a bite to eat and a drink in good company in beautiful surroundings?
How retro is this? A very classic ship, a fine cosy sloop with a beautiful handmade superstructure. It remains a striking boat because you immediately see how beautiful it all is. The oval high-gloss white roof with the high wooden superstructure is for the connoisseur typical for a Notary line. The tip cuts sharply through the water and the boat is very easy to handle and is also easy to steer. The benches inside are placed in such a way that every passenger has a great view outside. The corridor is nice and wide and the benches are comfortable. There is a cupboard with an authentic sink. The steering position is placed entirely in the front so that the helmsman has a clear view all around. Of course you choose this boat when you see those boring sleek sloops go. With this boat you stand out and you are dry. It is so nice to enjoy the view together and have a nice chat with each other. It will be beautiful days. This boat is completely tight in the paint and needs no paint for the time being. The engine is only completely firmly packed. This super nice Dutch river cross is now very competitively priced. The boat is inside the restorer's shed in Loosdrecht 15 min from Amsterdam. For a viewing call Pieter Pepping of White Whale Yachtbrokers 0653345219 or send an email [email protected].
