More about the Sleepboot 16,19
The tugboat "Wodan" was built in 1905 as a steamboat on a shipyard in Boom (Belgium). The original steam engine served until 1940. The current Industrie engine 2VD6A number 3211 was installed with a new chimney on November 30, 1940 by D. and Joh. Boot nv Motorenfabriek "de Industrie" in Alphen aan de Rijn. Tugboat "Wodan" is registered in the national register for sailing monuments.
Since "Wodan" is no longer commercially available, a new interior has been refurbished by Shipyard Gouwerok in Aalsmeer (NL). In the deckhouse in the bow is a V-seat with cupboard space and kitchen. The current owner intended to remove the gas hob and install an electric one. This has yet to be done. In the midships in front of the engine room is a double bed, accessible from the deckhouse. In the stern is a second cabin with shower cabin, accessible from the stern. The rear port side is a toilet. In the midships is the engine room.
This tugboat is brokered by the White Whale Yachtbrokers Enkhuizen office. If you are interested, please contact us at [email protected] or +31 (0) 228 855 380 for more information or to make an appointment for a viewing on board. Viewings are possible from Monday to Saturday.
