The tugboat "Wodan" was built in 1905 as a steamboat at a shipyard in the town of Boom (Belgium). The original steam engine was in service until 1940. The current Industrie engine 2VD6A number 3211 was installed with a new chimney on 30-11-1940 by D. en Joh. Boot nv Motorenfabriek "de Industrie" in Alphen aan de Rijn. Tugboat "Wodan" is floating heritage. Since Wodan is less than 100 cubic meters, the CVO is not required.
Since "Wodan" no longer operates commercially, a new interior has been fitted by shipyard Gouwerok in Aalsmeer. In the wheelhouse in the bow there is a V-shaped seating area with cabinet space and a kitchen. The current owner intended to remove the gas cooktop and install an electric one. This still needs to be carried out. In the midships, in front of the engine room, there is a double bed, accessible from the wheelhouse. In the stern there is a second cabin with a shower cubicle, accessible via the stern. Aft on the port side there is a toilet. The engine room is located in the midships.
