More about the Van Waveren Kotter
Beautiful classic lined motor vessel ready to sail for a new owner. This nice van Waveren started her life as a motorsailor but has been in use as a motor vessel for many years now. Precisely because of that sail base she is a very stable ship with fine sailing characteristics and the Daf 615, 6 cylinder diesel engine helps of course.
This van Waveren is a spacious and comfortable ship with a warm, nautical feel. Once on board you will find wide gangways with a solid and high railing for safe passage around the deck. Behind you will find a cosy cockpit where all passengers can find a comfortable place to sit. From the cockpit you have access to the ship and you will first end up in the wheelhouse. Besides the steering of the ship, you will also find a dinette from where you have a nice view of the surroundings.
Further to the front of the ship you will reach the saloon via a staircase. This is nice and spacious and has a round seat on the port side and a practical galley opposite. A little further forward in the ship you will also find a wet room with toilet and shower facilities on the starboard side. In the forepeak there is a double cabin.
If you are looking for a charming ship with the necessary space and comfort on board, then the van Waveren cutter is definitely worth a look. She is a lady of age but that is exactly the charm of the ship. A ship as a ship must be; robust, warm, safe and with character. We would like to hear from you to make an appointment for a viewing.
