The Ex Directievaartuig / Peilboot that we are offering is a classic, solidly built ship with a rich history (which is largely known to the owner) and comes from the Dutch shipyard Van de Velden in Zwolle. The current owner has ensured that this fine ship has remained in top condition; the interior was completely renewed in 2004, and in 2020 the hull was blasted and rebuilt, after which the entire ship was painted.

The deck aboard this Ex Management Vessel / Sounding Boat is spacious and features a fixed roof, which provides protection from the sun on warm days, but also makes it pleasant to be here during a rain shower.
